Company History

June 1923
Hirose Ironworks Co.was established in Nakamachi,Hikone City.
The production and sales of vaiv cocks were started.
September 1943
Washino Valve Cock Co., Ltd. was established with capital of ¥600,000.
Facilities were expanded at Torahime-cho,Asai-gun, Shiga Prifecture.
It was designated as a Military Control Plant and engaged in favrucatioin of valves and steam traps for military use.
March 1946
As the war ended,the facilities of the Torahime Plant were moved to the present plant site.
June 1950
The name of Washino Valve Cock Co., Ltd. was changed to Hirose Valve Industry Co., Ltd.
December 1954
Indicatin of Japanese Industrial Standards was permitted.
Permisson No.3568 from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
November 1961
Award of outstanding enterprise was granted by the Director of Medium and Small Enterprises Agency as result of an examination of medium and small size companies.
August 1962
The Company succeeded in the development of a hydraulic stop valve and started sales.
October 1962
A Tokyo business office was opened.
March 1965
A Osaka business office was opened.
March 1970
Capital was increased to ¥15milion.
October 1970
Capital was increased to ¥48milion.
Osaka Medium and Small Enterprise Investment and Promotio Co. made the investment thereby.
November 1971
Capital was increased to ¥100milion.
Medium and Small Enterprise Investment and Promotio Co. made the investment thereby.
February 1997
Certified by L.R.(LLOYD’S REGOSTER QUALITY ASSURANCE) to conform to the quality system standard ISO9001.
March 1998
A Hydoro-lab was opened.
February 2003
2000 year edition certification ISO 9001.
May 2003
The name change to central office from headquarteres office.
March 2007
Water pressusure test stand equipment introduction.
March 2010
2008 year edition certification ISO 9001.
October 2015
Head office and factory moved.
The character “Valulu-kun“ was created!
